Couple juggalows were dumping their moms coins. I walk up behind them, and inquire about the coins in the reject tray.

They already had handfuls of tokens and other non silvers they pulled out.

I see the silver dime, and offer 1 dollar for the little handful. I said I wanted the Wheatie especially, not the truth.

He drops the small 14 k gold with diamond ring I didn't know was With the coins. Looked like a brass pull tab to me.

We exchange monies, and pick up the ring.

The young female dumping the coins happens to look back at that time, and what do you know, she says " that's my moms" . Dammit!

I could have seriously just walked away with it, the kid dropped it, and didn't even noticed. I was trying to get more coins, cause they had a big stash left to dump. My ride was antsy, and doesn't respect the Coinstar silver. So I left. No gold. But a 1 dollar dime.

Nice dime finds !

Some of my banks shipped out the dimes already. I was able to snag one $1k bag of loose dimes and $300 cwr from a single branch.
$60 in quarters gave up an unbelievably crisp '64, I almost cut my finger on it - so sharp!

Nice enders !!

Picked up 2 boxes this morning. One has a code of "Dec 00" and the others have no code. I've been getting these Dec coded boxes for several weeks now and almost all have been junk, so I was glad to see I only got one this week. I opened up the coded box to end check and was surprised to find these enders staring back at me. I love knowing that it's not a skunk, but for some reason silver seems to gravitate to the ends with nothing in the middle many times, so I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

This box gave up a total of 7 keepers....(1) 90% JFK and (6) 40%'s. Not bad but was hoping for a little more.

Box 2 was a skunk and Box 3 produced (3) 40%'s.

Sunday hunts can be the best !!

Today I got bored so i went to my local Wal-Mart . Picked up a few rolls of everything.
4 pennies , 3 nickels , 3 dimes , and 2 quarter .
Went through them in the car so I could dump down the street at food lion !
After all, i got 1 wheat (1944) , 1 buffalo nickel (no date) , and a silver quarter !!!

First quarter I have ever actually found !

Major MOJO 2012 bowman baseball box

Went to my local shop to try a box today after reading about what everyone else is finding.
Of course i am hoping for a Darvish or a Harper but what are my chances?
Well what are my chances of both ???? :D

Halves blast from the past !

Ordered 2 boxes from my local CU. Got them in and saw the stamp on them. One june 15 2009 and august 27 2010. I was hoping for a good score coming up soon :)

Box 1 started slow but picked up to 26 40% and 1 64
Box 2 started hot and ended slow   23 40%  and a 61 franklin :)

My finds from 7/24

I went to my local bank to pick up some dimes. She continued to tell me that someone had brought in $40 in halves and asked if i wanted them. Of course i bought them. However i didnt figure i would get anything as this bank never has produced for me in halves.
So i left with $40 in halves $125 in dimes and $10 in pennies.
Pretty good day if you ask me !!

The pennies produced 4 wheats so not bad
